| "Zombieland" was filmed primarily in Georgia in early 2009. I worked as the Assistant Art Director for the film, and spent the majority of my time out in the field for the preparation of locations for the creation of the post apocalyptic world the movie was set in. Several weeks were spent exclusively in Valdosta, GA where the theme park Wild Adventures was transformed into our Pacific Playland. The remainder of the locations were scattered around outlying areas outside Atlanta to portray the cross-country journey our characters were on. | |||
